HOw fun! I'll have to show my kids this-they'll love it. Did you have them outside in TX? I would love some but worry about the hot summers.
You just put a frozen water bottle in their cage every afternoon when it's really hot- over 90. We use a 3-liter or an empty juice container. The snuggle right up to it & stay nice & cool.
